Engineer of the Year

Part of National Engineers’ Week included the announcement of the City’s Engineer of the Year, Norman “Bud” Braughton of Design & Construction. Bud has been with the City for six years and coordinates high-profile downtown projects such as the Scioto Mile Promenade, RiverSouth Improvements, Main Street and Rich Street bridges, Civic Center Drive Conversion, Town Street Rehabilitation and more. He has been instrumental in securing millions of dollars of grant money for the City. Bud was an electrical engineer for CSX and Conrail railroads for 27 years before joining the City.
